On May 2nd around 6:00 PM, Owen Jolley fell off of a balcony and broke his femur and sustained two skull fractures. He was taken to Summerlin hospital and was soon transferred to UMC. He is in stable condition and has been sedated to relax his body, mind and keep him from feeling the intense pain. He has had multiple CT scans, all of which are very encouraging that he will make a full recovery. He will remain sedated until they can perform surgery to repair his femur which will require a rod and pins. That surgery is scheduled for noon on Tuesday. After the surgery the doctors will let the anesthesia wear off and decrease the sedatives to see if he’ll wake up and regain his full cognitive functions. Please keep him, his family and the treating physicians in your prayers.
