Owen is doing well. He is awake and alert about 30% and sleeping the rest. He's on morphine for pain. Starting to talk in short phrases. I took him on wheelchair ride, which he enjoyed. He said "Hi grandma" when Grandma Sandy called. He is very groggy, but overall couldn't be doing better.

awww this is heart breaking. i'm not sure that you know me, but i'm in your ward, just had been overwhelmed with our own stuff and haven't made it to church often. owen and your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers though! i'm so thankful to sarah for the email updates, and now the blog to follow. i'm praying he gets up and at em quick with no lasting effects.
